Dark Chocolate Walnut Brownies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup roasted walnut oil
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate dark balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl (or using a double boiler), melt the dark chocolate chips with the roasted walnut oil until smooth.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Whisk in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  6. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and dark chocolate balsamic vinegar. Mix until well blended.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  8. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  9. Stir in the chopped walnuts, if using.
  10. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  11. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  12. Let cool completely before slicing.
