Blood Orange Dark Chocolate Fondue
Ingredients
- 1 pound dark chocolate chips or whole bars, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons Tangerine Dark Balsamic (or Traditional Balsamic)
For Serving
- Cookies
- Fresh fruit
- Marshmallows
- Pound cake
- Directions
Special Equipment: 6-quart slow cooker
- Heat the slow cooker (with insert) on high until hot.
- Add the chocolate, heavy cream, milk, Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil, vanilla extract, and kosher salt to the hot insert.
- Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
- Whisk the mixture until smooth and well combined.
- Reduce heat to low and keep warm.
- Just before serving, whisk in the balsamic vinegar.
- Serve warm with cookies, fruit, marshmallows, or pound cake for dipping.
