Blackberry Jalapeño Glazed Shrimp

This dish strikes a delicious balance of gentle heat from jalapeño and fruity depth from blackberry ginger balsamic, perfect for shrimp with a sweet-heat kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Jalapeño Infused Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Blackberry Ginger Dark Balsamic
  • 1.5 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced bell peppers or snap peas, sautéed
  • Cooked rice for serving

How to Make

  1. Toss the shrimp with 1 tbsp jalapeño olive oil, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine blackberry ginger balsamic and honey. Simmer on low heat for about 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
  3. Sauté or grill the shrimp in the remaining 1 tbsp jalapeño olive oil until cooked through, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Toss the cooked shrimp in the warm balsamic glaze.
  5. Serve over rice with optional sautéed vegetables on the side.
