Baked Brie and Figs W/ Rosemary Crostini
Ingredients – Baked Brie
- 1 round Brie
- 5 fresh figs, quartered
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Pear Balsamic
- 1½ tablespoons honey
- 1 thyme sprig
Ingredients – Crostini
- 1 baguette
- Rosemary Olive Oil
- Flaky sea salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
Prepare the Fig Topping
- In a pan over medium heat, add the quartered figs, brown sugar, and balsamic.
- Cook, stirring consistently, for about 10 minutes, until figs are soft and syrupy.
Bake the Brie
- Place the Brie in a shallow baking dish slightly larger than the cheese.
- Spoon the fig mixture over the Brie.
- Bake uncovered:
- 15–20 minutes for an 8 oz Brie
- 25 minutes for a 16 oz Brie
Make the Crostini
- Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.
- Brush both sides with Rosemary Olive Oil and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until crisp.
To Serve
- Sprinkle the crostini with flaky sea salt.
- Garnish the baked Brie with the thyme sprig and serve warm with crostini.
