Baked Brie and Figs W/ Rosemary Crostini

Ingredients – Baked Brie

  • 1 round Brie
  • 5 fresh figs, quartered
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Pear Balsamic
  • 1½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 thyme sprig

Ingredients – Crostini

  • 1 baguette
  • Rosemary Olive Oil
  • Flaky sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Prepare the Fig Topping

  1. In a pan over medium heat, add the quartered figs, brown sugar, and balsamic.
  2. Cook, stirring consistently, for about 10 minutes, until figs are soft and syrupy.

Bake the Brie

  1. Place the Brie in a shallow baking dish slightly larger than the cheese.
  2. Spoon the fig mixture over the Brie.
  3. Bake uncovered:
  4. 15–20 minutes for an 8 oz Brie
  5. 25 minutes for a 16 oz Brie

Make the Crostini

  1. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.
  2. Brush both sides with Rosemary Olive Oil and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until crisp.

To Serve

  1. Sprinkle the crostini with flaky sea salt.
  2. Garnish the baked Brie with the thyme sprig and serve warm with crostini.
